Tim Smith purchased A.H. Bechtold Construction from his grandfather, Art Bechtold, on October 1st, 1979. Since that time, Tim Smith Construction has worked for hundreds of customers on residential and commercial construction projects all over Whitley County and the surrounding areas. Over the years many things have changed, however, one thing remains the same, our commitment to our customers. We strive to approach every project with honesty and integrity in an effort to ensure every customer is completely satisfied with their services and final product.

Tim has been involved in the construction industry for most of his life. In his early years, he spent his summers working for his grandfather's construction business, A.H. Bechtold Construction, where he gained many years of experience in the industry. Following high school, Tim worked full-time for his grandfather up until 1979 when his grandfather decided to sell his business and head into retirement. At that point, Tim decided to purchase the company and began operating the business himself. Since that time Tim has turned the company into one of the premier general contractors in the Whitley County area serving hundreds of clients over the years.
