Founded in 1986, Kort is a full service contractor providing client services in design/build, general contracting, construction management and pre-construction services. Our specialties include tenant finishes and remodeling of offices, retail facilities, restaurants, industrial/warehouse facilities, bank/financial institutions, medical offices and facilities, new construction, as well as multi-family apartment and condo communities.

As Founder & Co-Owner of Kort Builders, Bob is responsible for the oversight of all company management, including new business development, sales, client relations, business planning and the development of all Negotiated & Design/Build projects. He is personally involved in working with prospective owners in order to get their projects to the construction phase in the most expedient manner. Jeff's primary focus is on facilitation of operations and production for the larger, more sophisticated projects while maintaining close interaction with clients, from pre-construction services through move-in and post-construction needs.

While design-build has emerged as a leader in today's cost-conscious construction industry, it's not a new concept. It has been around since the great pyramids of Egypt. The design-build method is based on the ancient concept of a master builder who accepted full responsibility for designing and constructing a project from conception to completion. At Kort Builders, we assume all responsibility for your project assembling a cohesive team including the architect, engineers, and designers with whom we collaborate to develop a facility to meet your needs and expectations.

Kort Builders is a full-service commercial general contractor that provides traditional construction services under negotiated or competitive bidding arrangements based on plans and specifications submitted by owners or architect/designers. The bid, whether negotiated or competitive, can be fixed or cost-plus. First and foremost, we are builders. New ideas and the ability to perform fast and flexibly in this traditional construction process allows us to remain competitive. We provide an exceptional value for our clients by utilizing new and pioneering methods.
