We at Bowa celebrate our cultural and familial history in construction by working to motivate, change, and impact our community. We are an African American owned General Contractor and Construction Management firm that was established on the core principles of family, honesty, discipline, and quality. Bowa Construction consists of individuals, collectively, with over 25 years of general contracting, construction management and design build experience.

In our Design-Build method of project delivery, Bowa will establish a single contract with the owner to provide for all architectural/engineering and construction services. With both design and construction placed in the hands of Bowa there is a single point of responsibility for quality, cost and schedule adherence. Bowa design/build team, wil evaluate alternative materials and methods efficiently and accurately. Value engineering and constructability are utilized continuously and more effectively when the designers and Bowa work as a team during the entire design process.

Bowa provides experienced and knowledgeable professionals to handle all phases of your construction project. As a General Contractor, we handle all types and sizes of projects from new construction to renovations. Our project management staff guides you through every step of the project with our field superintendents, tradesmen and qualified subcontractors delivering your project on-time with the highest degree of safety and quality. Utilizing a General Contractor is most beneficial when a client desires to contract directly with the Architect/Engineer for design services and enter into a fixed fee contract with one contractor to perform all construction activities.

As Construction Managers, Bowa is involved in all phases of construction from conceptual design, pre-construction to contract closeout. The owner or developer has more involvement than under a General Construction Contract as there several types of CM contract such as GMP, CM at risk are just to name a few. With the experience and input of Bowa as your Construction Manager, we will assist and advise in all of the above activities as well architect/engineer/contractor selections, provide cost estimates and value engineering, prepare and oversee the master schedule, bid packaging/procurement and permits, full-time on-site project and safety management, budget and change order management, monthly reporting, punch lists and post construction follow-up.
