We began as the Singer Dealer in Hanover Center in 1981 selling Singer sewing machines and vacuum cleaners. We quickly added ceiling fans and a larger selection of vacuum cleaners. In the mid 80's New Home sewing machines were added. New Home was the first company to offer embroidery machines, starting with the New Home Memory Craft 8000. The 1990s brought the full line of Baby Lock, including sergers, sewing, quilting, long arm, and embroidery machines. The past 39 years have brought many improvements in both sewing machines and vacuum cleaners.
Free estimates are given on all items brought in for service. Most repairs are completed in 3 to 4 days unless parts need to be ordered. Our service technicians have over 40 years of experience and constantly attend manufacturer's training to stay current. Most household sewing machine brands are serviced, including Singer, Brother, Pfaff, Necchi, Kenmore, Viking, and Bernina. We are the local service center for Baby Lock and Janome sewing machine. Vacuum cleaner brands serviced include Sharp, Hoover, Kirby, Eureka, Bissell, Royal, Kenmore, Miele, Riccar, Simplicity, Filter Queen, Sebo, Maytag, Rainbow, Compact, and Dirt Devil as well as others.
I visited this shop before Christmas. I was greeted warmly. The woman who helped me was very knowledgeable and eager to answer all of my questions related to an embroidery machine. She gave me a demonstration as well with the machine. When I am ready to purchase The Destiny, I will certainly take my business to them.
This shop is fantastic! I went in to get a new Janome machine and found a treasure. They helped me decide on the best machine, and let me try out the machines. They are only a phone call away if I need them or have any questions! It's worth the hour drive to me to go to the experts!
I love this shop! Everyone that works there is kind, giving their attention to you and your concerns. I love that they re NOT sewing snobs, they are happy to help you no matter how experienced you are or are not. Debbie gives great advice for any situation you might have. She has made a huge difference in my ability to sew. There are not enough nice things to say. I have been snubbed in several high end shops because I sew bottom of the line.
