Kinzler Construction Services is a family and employee-owned construction subcontractor with a proven process for hassle-free installation and delivery of building materials. Our purpose is to serve others, build relationships and enrich the lives of our employees and those we partner with. Kinzler is an employee-owned company, which means our employee-owners have skin in the game when it comes to providing you industry-leading customer service. Kinzler Construction Services is building on more than three decades of experience, founded by Kevin and Yvonne Kinzler as a small construction company operating out of their garage.

The benefits of a Blown-In-Blanket insulation system installed by your local experts at Kinzler Construction Services make it the ideal choice for insulating residential homes, commercial or industrial buildings. BIBS insulation is an environmentally sustainable, versatile, and dependable way to insulate your home or building that involves blowing specially manufactured fiberglass blowing wool into cavities behind netting. This form of insulation is thermally efficient and cost-effective. When installed at the recommended density levels, this solution provides you with an R-15 in 2" x 4" construction and R-23 in 2" x 6" construction.

By taking a few extra steps now, homeowners can toss out the notion that basements are cursed to be dank, cold and musty storage rooms. A wet basement is unlivable and potentially unhealthy. That's why many builders seek improved construction practices that minimize the negative effects of wet basements and maximize the available living space in today's new homes. Kinzler Construction Services installs a variety of foundation waterproofing and insulation products, helping keep water out of your basement and comfort in.

Even though you don't see it, insulation has real and significant benefits. In fact, insulation has a three times greater impact on the average home's energy and comfort than windows or doors! The US Department of Energy warns homeowners that just 1 in 5 homes constructed prior to 1980 are sufficiently insulated. While homes built today are required to meet minimum R-Value standards, this requirement was not included in building codes prior to the mid-1970s. This means that approximately 80% of homes built before this time are in need of better insulation!

Spray foam insulation is a two-component mixture made of isocyanate and polyol resin. These two properties combine at the tip of a spray nozzle and form an expanding foam that can be sprayed onto concrete slabs, roof tiles, into wall cavities, or through holes drilled into the cavities of a finished wall. The US Department of Energy found that 40% of a home's energy is lost through air leaks — driving up your utility bills. However, buildings that take advantage of spray foam insulation are insulated up to 50% better than traditional insulation products.

Blown-in insulation is a combination of cellulose, fiberglass, and mineral (rock or slag) wool. Small particles come together in this process and conform to any space without disturbing the already-finished structures. Depending on the type of blown-in insulation you select, the R-value/inch will vary. The measurement of material is critical to proper and effective installation. That's why it's so important to hire a trained professional installer from Kinzler Construction Services. This type of insulation is ideal for enclosed existing walls or open new wall cavities, unfinished attic floors, and other difficult-to-reach places.

When installed adequately and properly, this relatively inexpensive product can save you large amounts of money throughout the life of your home! It can also help control sound from room to room. It's most cost-effective to add insulation during construction than to retrofit it after the house is finished. That's why we created this video guide to help you make the best decisions whenit comes to energy-efficiency and home comfort. Now that you know more about how insulation affordably keeps you and your family comfortable year-round, it's time to contact us.

Spray-Applied Fireproofing is used to insulate steel and metal decking from the high temperatures found during a fire. The Sprayed Fire-Resistive Material (SFRM) thermally insulates the structural members to keep them below the temperatures that cause failure. While not its primary use, SFRM may also provide acoustical treatment and thermal insulation for large areas where the structural members and metal decking are left exposed. Fireproofing is available as a wet or dry spray formula and can also be troweled on.

Over the last 2 weeks I had drywall delivered to two houses I am working on. Just wanted to share that overall from start to finish the process went very smoothly and the guys delivering it did a great job.

Years ago, I had a terrible experience with movers wreaking havok on my furniture while moving it out of my house. As they tossed around my personal belongings, I wondered how these "paid professionals" could care so little in their handling of my stuff. The answer is simple: ownership. When you own something, you treat it differently. You form a psychological connection that creates a feeling of responsibility. My movers didn't have any attachment to the objects they were moving, they were just executing the task of moving objects.

There are four types of cellulose insulation that are used for different reasons in different parts of a building: dry, spray-applied, stabilized, and low dust. As compared to other economical insulation options, cellulose provides good thermal performance with an R-value of 3.8 per inch. Cellulose insulation has received the highest fire safety rating (class 1), and can easily fit around items in your walls like pipes and wiring. Cellulose insulation is most often used in the cavities of walls and roofs to insulate, reduce noise, draught proof, and even provide added control against mold.
