In 2011, Brian Hoyer - a Cedar Falls, IA native and then a student at the University of Northern Iowa - saw a need in the Cedar Falls, IA recycling market. Despite the availability of city provided recycling redemption sites an opportunity existed to provide curbside recycling service to its residents. Enter Recycle Rite. At the outset, Brian made due with minimal resources operating out of his parents' garage with a pickup truck and calling on friends to help sort the materials he picked up. Fast forward to February of 2016, with a substantial customer base and more appropriate accommodations for picking up and sorting material, a new opportunity arose to add a new chapter and provide additional services.
