The Commercial Development division of COST evolved from six decades of creating architectural shotcrete features, waterfalls, aquariums, rockwork, landscape, and themed elements for other market segments. Our dynamic team uses its expertise to develop aesthetic features like waterfalls, theme elements, and artistic icons to deliver a shopping experience that is second to none. Our project designers work closely with owners, architects, engineers, and other contractors to present options and cost-effective solutions for each commercial exhibit fabrication or building restoration project we undertake.

COST's involvement in theme or specialty projects goes far beyond field construction. Construction project consultation, material recommendations, estimating, and other services are all available during preconstruction phases. Our seasoned staff members can be brought in during preconstruction to consult with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors. These meetings are beneficial for pricing and scheduling purposes as approaches, materials, and other aspects of specialty exhibit construction can be weighed and critiqued to determine the best fabrication and construction methods.

Water features have continued to grow in popularity over the past few decades. Regulation golf courses, residential and commercial developments, office parks, retail stores, casinos, resorts, and city parks have all included water features that provide a beautiful or signature setting within that facility's grounds. COST offers a full spectrum of water feature construction services including: mechanical design, modeling, fabrication, and construction. COST production facilities have several individual departments that specialize in theme carpentry, concrete composites, fiberglass, urethanes, epoxies, decorative metals, and acrylics. Oftentimes, water feature mechanical systems and aquarium life support systems are fabricated and then shipped to the job site for a quick and seamless installation. COST's technological improvements include our Computer Aided Framework System (CAFS) and 5-Axis CNC equipment. The process begins by importing drawings and scanned models into the CAFS/CNC environments.
