Krause Excavating Inc. is a family owned and operated business which has been serving our customers for over 40 years. Roger and Carol Krause has partnered with JG Hull Excavating in 1974, for a short term the company then became K & H Excavating and shortly after, the company is now known as Krause Excavating Inc. Both sons, Allan and Neil have been with the company since it was purchased. Roger now retired, Carol the Office Manager, Allan and Neil take over the day to day operations. Allan -Forman, specializes in wetland restoration, drag-lining and the long reach back hoe.

The boys just wrapped up a 14-week long job for CT DOT. The work consisted mainly of removing old concrete light pole bases. We worked on Rt 9 and Rt 72 near Berlin, and then I384 through Manchester. Most of the work was done at night, some during the day. Roughly 1,100 tons of concrete was removed...
