The National Guard celebrates 384 years of service today. Here are just a few examples of how your National Guard has stayed vibrant, relevant, and since 1636, "Always Ready, Always There" to serve you.
Mead & Hunt is a national firm offering design services in the fields of planning, design, architecture and engineering. Our staff's multidisciplinary skills are available from offices nationwide. Daniel W. Mead, an internationally recognized expert in hydroelectric and hydraulic engineering, established this consulting firm in 1900. Henry Hunt, an electrical and civil engineer, became a partner in the firm in the early 1920s. Growth through this partnership allowed Mead & Hunt to further diversify into other areas of engineering and architecture.
Water is a vital resource. It sustains us, promotes commerce and recreation, and can be a powerful threat to life and property. Facilities that provide flood protection and those used to store, distribute and treat water require diligent care in operations and maintenance. Our engineers plan and design your water structures, and provide construction administration for new construction and maintenance tasks. We analyze project economics to help you seek funding, allocate it and determine project feasibility.
We offer a variety of construction administration and inspection services to complement our design services. From roadways and bridges to other facilities, our team of engineers and site inspectors is equipped to perform reliable construction oversight. Services include materials testing, project administration with quality control measures, project closeout, special inspections and construction management at risk. Our experienced and diversified inspectors provide third-party inspections that confirm your project meets safety and quality standards.
