Innes Construction is a self performing general contractor. That means we use our own skilled people to perform many of the tasks required to complete a construction project. Our workforce specializes in concrete, carpentry, structural steel, insulation, metal siding, metal stud framing, specialties, doors, and hardware. There are two great benefits to using our own personnel. The first, is the ability to control the schedule. Because we self perform a majority of the activities that are critical to the timely completion of a project, we have the ability to increase manpower as needed to keep the project on schedule.
Using a Traditional General Construction Contract means that the owner has engaged an architect who has completed a set of design drawings and specifications for the project. Innes Construction will provide the owner a fixed fee price to do the work. The price is strictly specific to the requirements of the design. Innes Construction will construct the project using their own work force for the bulk of the work and sub-contracting specialty tasks as required. In a Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract the owner and the contractor agree to a percentage of margin allowed for the general contractor to charge as a fee on the project.
