The C-Tech Companies specialize in the fabrication, construction, and maintenance of industrial and manufacturing facilities, primarily: Petrochemical, Chemical, Ethanol, Fertilizer, Petroleum Refining, and other related processes. ConFab Incorporated is a custom pipe and metal fabrication company that specializes in steel detailing, fabrication, and coatings for commercial, industrial, and petrochemical applications.

C-Tech Industrial Group, Inc. has a rich history and began as a general contracting company. In 1956 George A. Blackburn founded George A. Blackburn Construction, Inc. For twenty-two years this general contracting company served the refinery and petrochemical plant industries located in Midwestern Kansas. In 1978 Ralph L. Austin purchased the assets of George A. Blackburn and formed Blackburn, Inc. Under Blackburn, Inc. the services, capabilities and client base were expanded to serve industries throughout the nation.

C-Tech Industrial Group is composed of several multifaceted companies that include Blackburn Construction, Inc., Blackburn Maintenance, Inc., ConFab Incorporated, and Industrial Insulation Service, Inc. Each are industry leaders in providing process piping construction, plant maintenance services, insulation and scaffolding, and piping & steel fabrication. Blackburn Construction, Inc. (BCI) is a general contractor that specializes in all aspects of industrial construction. Primary expertise is in the area of fabrication and installation of process piping systems and equipment. BCI, a C-Tech Industrial Group company, has been providing General Contracting; Project Management; Petrochemical Construction/Maintenance; Ethanol Plant Construction; and Piping & Steel Fabrication/Installation Services since 1956. Through steady and controlled growth, BCI's client base has grown from the midwest region to national markets.
