We work on transportation, water and wastewater, bridges, pedestrian facilities, recreational facilities, subdivisions, site planning, utilities and a wide range of other projects. We are a true "full-service" civil engineering firm. We provide our clients with peace of mind to handle the project from start to finish. The phrase "time is money" has never been more applicable than in today's economy. We can provide all land development services needed for private developers, government entities, architects and contractors.
Our land surveying department not only supports our own engineering and geotechnical departments, but provides the highest quality surveying product to many of the state's municipalities and fellow engineering firms. Regardless of the scale and scope of the project, our professional drafting department stands ready to provide our clients with the deliverable format required. Using only the latest surveying equipment and software, we have the ability to mobilize 14 equipped and experienced survey crews, providing rapid response and the ultimate level of accuracy in every survey, large or small.
Kaw Valley Engineering first established our Kansas City, MO, branch in Parkville, MO, in 1984. A little more than a year later, in 1985, this office was moved to Riverside, MO. In 2004, it was relocated again to Barry Road in Kansas City, MO. Eight short years later, we moved to our current location on North Oak Trafficway. Marty has over 30 years of professional experience, including extensive experience in all phases of civil engineering. He has provided design services for commercial, educational and residential (both single and multi-family) projects throughout the Midwest.
Kaw Valley Engineering established itself in Salina, KS, in 2008. Our first location was on Armory Road. We eventually outgrew this site and in 2014 we moved to our current building on Duvall Avenue. This location is also home to one of our four full-service materials testing laboratories. Justin has more than 13 years of civil engineering experience. His experience includes serving as a Project Manager and Design Engineer for design of DOT and municipal transportation projects, construction engineering, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, drainage structure design, storm water detention, and residential and commercial development.
