The Delta Companies Inc., operating as Apex Paving Company, Delta Asphalt of Arkansas, and Southern Illinois Asphalt Company, is a leader in highway construction in several Midwest states, performing work for Departments of Transportation in Missouri, Arkansas, and Illinois; commercial and private customers; municipalities; and other local government entities. The majority of our paving projects consist of municipal, FAA-regulated airports, and Department of Transportation contracts. However, our skilled and experienced workforce, coupled with an extensive fleet of paving construction equipment, has the ability to complete small to medium-sized projects commercial projects to multi-million dollar highway contracts.
Earlier today, our South Region (Delta Asphalt of Arkansas, Inc.) conducted its first Kick-Off Meeting of the year. It was held in Jonesboro, Arkansas and included the crews that normally work in the eastern section of our market area. SAFETY was the topic of the day!
