MAT Construction started in 1982 as a partnership, and in 1999 incorporated with Mr. Chuck Tijerina as President, CEO of the company. Chuck's goal was to provide quality retaining walls on local Resaca banks. Over time the company grew to working on saltwater banks along the Gulf of Mexico, the Laguna Madre bay, the Arroyo Colorado, and other lakes and waterways in Progresso, San Benito, Harlingen, Bay View, McAllen and throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
