Northcon, Inc. was founded by owners Randy and Renay Smith in 1977. The newly formed Native American owned company quickly grew from subcontract work, in the multiple facets of interior finish trades, to operating as a general contractor focusing on commercial and residential projects. In this period of growth and transition, Randy and Renay recognized the value of serving customers' needs and committed to "customer satisfaction" as the primary business focus for Northcon. In 1992, Randy and Renay made a strategic decision to relocate their family, home, and business to Hayden, Idaho.
To date (April 2011) we have in progress or completed 101 delivery orders for a total dollar amount of $8,047,675. Orders have run the gamut of HVAC work, interior renovations, Army training ranges, road repairs, electrical work, Air Force training simulator, etc. I rate performance as exceptional. Northcon is one of the finest contractors I've worked with in the last 25 years. Northcon was presented this award by the National Center American Indian Enterprise in recognition of outstanding leadership and contributions made to the advancement of American Indian economic and business development.
