Critical to all projects ranging from commercial development to infrastructure are the soil properties that support these structural and underground components. A creative approach to geotechnical engineering may be the difference between a very expensive solution and one that appropriately fits the subsurface conditions and the project budget. Over the last six decades, Western Technologies performed literally tens of thousands of geotechnical evaluations. Our experience and technical resources combine to produce cost-effective geotechnical engineering recommendations.

The structural performance of building materials depends, to a large measure, on the quality of the materials delivered and their placement during construction. To assist the owner, developer, architect, engineers and building officials - Western Technologies performs independent special inspections, construction quality assurance or quality control services, pavement evaluations and engineering, and earthwork observation and testing. Special Inspections, under Chapter 17 of the International Building Code (IBC), are required for buildings and structures in many states and municipalities.
