Reyes Construction, Inc. is a General Construction firm based in Southern California, that was awarded a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition for outstanding and invaluable service to the community, successfully partnering with numerous agencies and hundreds of subcontractors and vendors within the Southwest District. Founded and incorporated in 1987, Reyes Construction, Inc. has over 27 years of experience providing quality service for a variety of clients including the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Port of Los Angeles, Port of Long Beach, Caltrans, county and city public works, sanitation, flood control, waste management and a number of local, state and Federal Government agencies.
In 2002, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers gathered together numerous contractors, consultants and engineers for the construction of the Los Angeles County Drainage Area (LACDA) Project in order to alleviate the severe flood overflow potential by increasing the flood-overflow potential of the L.A. River, Rio Hondo Channel and Compton Creek. Reyes Construction, Inc. was awarded several contracts providing channel work and bridge construction and became an integral part of the project's success.
