Do you ask yourself How do I take on this home improvement project? Do I need an architect? Or should I consult a contractor instead? Architects take a traditional design/bid/build approach, but while they're considering bids from various contractors to build their design, costly delays can mount, and the more time passes, the more likely the lines of communication can get tangled. It's an unnecessary, inefficient approach that can leave you wondering "Who's accountable?" At Podesta, we think there's a better way to do business.

An experienced project manager or lead carpenter will be assigned to your project and will be responsible for all day-to-day communication with you, from the start of construction to the completion of the project. We treat your home with care. With every project, our approach is to protect your personal property and to contain the construction area from the rest of your home. We emphasize ongoing communication by making ourselves available to you in person, or by phone, email and fax. We schedule regular meetings to discuss your project status and other topics that might arise during the construction process.

Podesta will work with an owner's design professional to provide Build services on select projects. Since proper planning is essential to the successful outcome of any project, and requires a significant investment of time, we offer our Pre-Build services which supplement the work of the owner's design professional. We provide an initial no-fee consultation to meet all decision makers, including architects and designers so we can further define the benefits of working together. We feel it is important to begin this process during the initial phase of design so that we can listen to your concerns, address any questions, and provide valuable feedback on your project.
