Went to purchase an entertainment center that we had found online at a competitor's store for 1499.00. They had it marked up to 2899.00 and called this a sale. We told them we wanted to purchase local as we have bought a bed, couch, rugs and more from them in the past and were told they couldn't match the price. They told us we should just order it online from the other store. I asked the sales guy for the manager and we watched him look at us and walk away. He told the sales guy that he was busy closing down the store. The store was still open another 30 minutes. Will never shop here again. If the manager can't take five minutes to talk to a customer, then he doesn't deserve my business.
Bought a very nice rug with the protection package. My pet had an accident, I've cleaned the spot a dozen times but a smell is still lingering. Call the protection/ insurance company and I am informed the protection does not cover "odors". Are you kidding me? Will never buy from Howells again.
