We are a small company with a wide range of knowledge and experience. We have a long list of satisfied customers, most of whom we now call friends. We do ‘turn key' [bare ground to project completion] construction or any part of a job. I have built Oregon custom homes, barns, huge arenas, ‘man caves' and have done all kinds of remodels. I have also constructed many miles of logging roads and driveways in all types of terrain. As such, I can help design and build meaningful roads and homesites for your particular desires and location.
Every one with a desire for an outbuilding has a different thought on it's function and appearance. Terrain, budget, and usage play major rolls in the decision making process. We have built an array of designs from the standard gambrel roof style barn to huge steel framed arenas, to small run in sheds. Some have been acombination structure with multiple uses such as a barn with RV storage or an arena with stalls or even an apartment/'MAN CAVE' included.
Remodeling an existing home can be a daunting thought. There are many facets to most remodels. Some things are obvious and some are not. We can help you understand how to achieve your goals in the restructuring of your home. It is always paramount to meld function with appearance. In this home we added to the size of the kitchen/dining area plus a new back porch. Also we added to the size of the living room by removing the wall between the addition and the living room plus an overhang that will shade the room in the summer.
Excavation is the foundation of any building project. If done correctly it works well and is never noticed. Planning the excavation for drainage, function and appearance is paramount to your project. With our fragile desert environment the equipment should never get off the job footprint. When the job is completed it should look like it has always been there. I started my career in dirt work in the late 60s as a teenager out on the ranch. Since then I have operated equipment types too numerous to mention.
We have a wood framed greenhouse (12×20 ft) in need of a new roof. It has polycarbonate panels that need new ones installed, will need 6- 4′ x 12′ panels. As you've done greenhouse structures, I hope this may be a project you would choose to do.
This is Gail Leaders writing you again. I want to follow up on your suggestion that I consider a different type of garage to build. If you have time, I would like you to go to this website http://www.versatube.com and look at their kits for garages. I am interested in the Summit garage 20x20x8 for $4,579. I would like your opinion of that company and, in particular, the Summit garage.
A ‘Dream Home' is a once in a lifetime opportunity to design your surroundings to fit YOU. In our sunny environment a great deal of attention needs to be paid to what the sun will do to your living area throughout the year. Many homes are very picturesque driving by but don't function well for the owner. The great view with large windows is great to look at but can become a real problem in the heat of the summer and the cold of the winter. I feel that it is better to design your home for the particular site you chose so that all elements work together.
A new front door, the old approach to the old entrance gone and hammering a ditch in the lava for power and water. Big boy toys! Conduit and water line in with new meter base. The power will come off the house and get there underground from here on. The smaller conduit will go to the well so we can shut the power off to the house and still have water for fire suppression.
