We transformed a dark, traditional townhouse into a light and serene space with Scandinavian modern style. To achieve this, the home was completely gutted we stripped everything down to the studs and then rebuilt it. As the house did not get much sunlight, we used light, watery paint tones, soft lighting fixtures and luminous flooring colors to make the home feel warm and inviting. The 18th century antique tall case clocks - one Norwegian, the other Swedish - and formal 19th century Danish sconces added a stately touch.
