Phyllis Harbinger started Design Concepts/Interiors, LLC in 1993, servicing both commercial and residential clients worldwide. The combination of commercial and residential projects, along with the variety of locales and clients' styles, creates a spark that fuels her creativity. Phyllis is also a Certified Feng Shui Practitioner, which enables her to integrate Eastern methods and theories of design and balance into her practice. Phyllis is NCIDQ certified, a fellow and a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers.

She has served as president of the NY Metro Chapter and as the Chair of the Chapter Support Team on the National level for ASID. She is also a tenured Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City. Her award-winning firm published The Interior Design Productivity Toolbox, which will streamline the processes and systems for Interior Designers, Students and the Design/Build community.
