Existing bathroom and closet locations were exchanged in this master suite remodel in an 1800's Victorian Home. The former closet was completely gutted and opened up to create a spacious master bathroom retreat. Soft gray tones in the wall and floor tiles exude a sense of tranquility within this large expansive room. Each space within the bathroom is clearly defined with a large shower, a deep soaking tub, and a double vanity. Due to the clients' working schedules, two door ways from the master bedroom were maintained to the bedroom space: one through the walk in closet and one directly to the bathroom.

A formerly mauve-pink walled bedroom was transformed with classic warm gray paint and eclectic styling. For this space, the client wished to add quirky personality, while creating a comfortable and approachable private space. Plymouth Rock gray paint provides the perfect background for the gold, cream, and brass tones of the furniture and accessories. The antique bed frame, dresser, and jewelry armoire were repainted to match the existing trim of the room. Geometric texture is created with the collection of empty brass-colored frames above the headboard.

The existing kitchen of this large 1800's Victorian home was in need of a major overhaul. The layout limited sight-lines and the space was not conducive for the homeowner's desire to have an entertaining space that connected with the dining room. Expanded the kitchen into the existing butler's pantry and back addition to add much needed square footage to this space. A large opening was made and framed with cabinetry to give much needed views to the dining room. Although this created an awkward shape for this space, we maximized efficiency by creating specific cooking and prep zones with ample counter space in each zone.

Before the remodel, this kitchen had a mix of custom cherry cabinets that had been added to a white and blue painted L-shaped kitchen with a peninsula. The homeowners had added a great room adjacent to the kitchen, but the kitchen's layout did not connect well to this well used space. The peninsula created a pinch point in the main kitchen space and cut off a portion of the storage area from the main prep area. For the remodel, we captured 2 feet of space from an adjacent office and infilled one set of french doors.
