Thornton Designs

Thornton Designs is a boutique interior design firm dedicated to creating homes filled with meaningful furnishings and charming details that bring joy, comfort, and inspiration. Founded by Lee Ann Thornton, a seasoned designer with over two decades of experience, the firm blends timeless classic aesthetics with personalized approaches to design. Our Mother-daughter team, including partner Allie Resor, brings a fresh, preppy, bohemian perspective to complement Lee Ann's expertise. With offices in Connecticut and Charleston, we serve clients from the eastern seaboard to the Pacific coast, offering full-service design and consultation services. Our work emphasizes bi-coastal sensibilities, attention to detail, and a warm, thoughtful methodology that prioritizes client lifestyles and sensibilities.

Featured in House Beautiful and Luxe Magazine, we focus on creating spaces that honor both architectural integrity and personal narratives. Our team collaborates closely with builders and architects to ensure seamless integration of design and construction, delivering spaces that are both functional and beautiful. Client testimonials highlight our ability to transform homes into joyful, cohesive environments through expert guidance and creative vision. We maintain active involvement in industry organizations, including the NYC Decorators Club, and offer consultations via phone or video conference to address specific design needs.
