KD3 Design Studio was formed by the coming together of Dale R. Hair with 26 years of experience at Ganflec Architects and Engineers, and of the established firm of Kurt M. Oravecz, Architect. The company name is a play on the initials of the founding principals' first names and the three-dimensional Art of Architecture. Our staff's unique and combined experience of over 100 years in Central PA allows us to originate building design solutions for the unique needs of each client's project and to artistically integrate not only form and function but also cost-savings from design to project completion, as well as overall building life-cycle cost by employing sustainable design principles.
Since 2006, KD3 Design Studio has offered a multi-discipline approach to architectural designs, delivering exceptional results to a vast array of commercial clients. With the experience of having designed hundreds of buildings over the careers of our principals and staff, KD3 is well-versed to bring customized full-service architectural services to clients for building projects of most types. It's been three months since we posted any progress photos of the future home of Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services. The roof and perimeter insulation board are installed on the main building along with the doors and windows. Exterior finishes have started and the utilities are being roughed in on the interior.
