The Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) program was developed and written by contractors, for contractors. The program provides an organized approach for analyzing and developing safety and loss prevention programs and a valid, objective method for measuring safety program improvements as well as a safety performance. Of the seventy-seven (77) companies receiving Bronze, Silver and Gold awards, Heim Construction Company earned and was awarded the Bronze level. Awards were presented in a ceremony at the Normandy Farm Hotel and Conference Center located in Blue Bell, Pa.

Heim Construction Co., Inc. submitted the most cost effective proposal for the Design / Build of the interior fit out of the Orwigsburg Borough Garage. After award of the project, Heim Construction Co. completed the required consultation with the Owner completing the concept design, applied for all permits and offered various design improvements. The work consisted of interior fit-out providing interior partitions, doors, ceilings and finishes. Also provided were necessary plumbing fixtures and equipment, propane service, distribution and heating equipment for the garage and split HVAC system for the office area.
