Wilson Boland Design, originally founded as Design In A Day, began with the concept of working with what you have. Over the last 20 plus years, the company has evolved and transitioned into a full-service interior design firm managed by mother-daughter partners Carolyn Wilson and Elizabeth Boland. Whether it's working with clients on their forever home, or their fourth home, Wilson Boland's motto, "Fill your home with things that make your heart sing" is the foundation for our approach to design.
Here is a snap shot (sorry for the lousy photo) of our Design Board for the DC Design House. The closet came out, the walls are being prepped, the carpeting will be replaced, then it's time to paint, wallpaper and get to the good stuff- the decorating! It doesn't show up well in the picture, but here is a close up of the wallpaper we will be using in the room. I am a wife, Mom, and an Interior Designer. I love my job, and I love the fact that I get to work with one of my best friends. My Mom and I are partners in our Washington DC based design firm, Wilson Boland Design.
