Thank you for taking the time to look into our products. Lester Furniture Manufacturing, Inc. is a forth generation company that started with Mr. E. B. Harrelson in 1939. He instilled in his grandson a high standard of the old time quality that goes into each piece of furniture made today. From this standard, I have taken the best of the old and combined it with the best of today's new products and created the highest quality of furniture you can buy. However, new furniture components are invented daily.
High-gauge steel sinuous springs offer maximum support for each piece of furniture constructed by Lester Furniture Mfg., Inc. Each spring is individually placed, secured with clinchers and hand tied 8 ways with a synthetic twine to eliminate breaking or stretching. By the end of the 17th century, horse hair was the "stuffing" of choice and allowed the upholster to control the shape of the furniture. But before horse hair became popular sawdust, grass, feathers, deer and goat hair were also used to fill furniture.
