Dianne Davant founded her interior design firm in 1979 in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Now celebrating over 35 years, the firm has grown to include two locations with several talented designers that dedicate themselves to providing the very best in interior design. Lazy Bear Lodge boasts a mix of South Western art, sculpture, museum quality Adirondack furnishings, hand-carved mesquite pieces, antique Black Forest cabinets, all blended into a unique rustic setting. Perched above the Linville Ridge Country Club and Golf Course, the Lazy Bear Lodge is a showcase of rustic living.
Each senior member of the interior design team at Dianne Davant & Associates is a Professional Member of theNational Society of Interior Designers. Our designers are also licensed in the State of Florida. ASID is the leading professional organization for interior designers. Professional members must complete a combination of accredited design education and work experience as well as pass the accreditation exam administered by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ). Our talented team of designers works closely with our clients to discern their tastes, style and design needs.
We also offer an extensive library of exquisite home furnishings, fabrics, wall coverings and accessories. Our design staff has experience working on both residential and commercial projects including seaside bungalows, grande estates, mountain lodges, country clubs, corporate jets and luxury yachts. Dianne Davant began her career as a North Carolina Interior Designer, upon graduating from design school. She began our firm in the luxury area of the town of Blowing Rock NC and she has completed numerous luxury interior design projects throughout the resort communities in not only historic Blowing Rock but also Linville and Banner Elk.
