With a practice spanning decades, Peace Design is well regarded in the architecture and design community. We are known for creating authentic environments that reflect the true lifestyle and values of our clientele. William Peace, our founder and leader, is deeply involved in every interior project entrusted to our care. Our dedicated team has worked together for nearly twenty years. Throughout this time, some of us have taken a brief respite to pursue further design training or to raise small children, but our shared commitment to our work has always brought us back together.

We believe the way a room feels is equally as important as the way it looks. Throughout the design process, we invite our clients to experience the materials - the softness of a fabric, the plushness of a rug, and the texture of a wall covering. These nuances artfully contribute to the overall expression and resonance of a room. Peace Design interiors are often layered with meaningful objects curated from our clients' family collections. We encourage people to discover what inspires them and to pursue special objects of interest in their travels.

The editors of Mountain Living have published their 2021 ML List which they describe as an ‘exclusive guide to the most talented influential architects and interior designers at work in the West today.' Peace Design is pleased and humbled to be on the list amongst such an impressive group who are clearly at the top of their game. Working out West has been a joy and privilege and we always do our best to honor the majestic landscapes of mountain living.
