Studio M Interior Design was tasked with creating a contemporary office design combining modern space planning, lighting and features mixed with mid-century modern furniture and decor. The result is a modern take on Mad Men and the client, Ameriprise Financial, couldn't be happier. Working with a female-owned start up company was an honor. In order to create a low stress environment for financial work we selected a palette that not only reflected the coastal area the office is located in, but would also soothe nerves with a more transitional to modern personal aesthetic.

This was a new construction project located on Amelia Island in Fernandina Beach. It was situated on a long but narrow lot which provided some unique design opportunities. There are three stories to this home plus a roof top grilling and observation area. Space was at a premium and great care was taken when planning each room, no space was left under utilized. The program for this home included a living room, kitchen, wine tasting room, custom wine cooler, roof top grilling and observation deck, three guest bedrooms and bathrooms, master suite with large closet and adjacent laundry room, powder room, sand room with laundry facilities right off the beach, work out facility, and a four car garage.

When approached by my client to join their team on this renovation I was excited for the challenge! This home is located on the ocean in the Atlantic Beach area of Jacksonville, Florida. It was a very old home that had been rather unsuccessfully added on to over the years by various owners. Our job was to bring uniformity to the home and open up the view to the ocean. The East facade was largely covered by walls and tiny windows. I worked closely with the architect on this puzzle and we were able to open up spaces, clean up adjacencies, create a functional and beautiful new kitchen for our client who loves to cook as well as a terrific new master suite with good closet space and a nice master bathroom that did not exist before.

Studio M Interior Design partnered with Edwards & Cohen to design a sleek, modern interior office design with a sophisticated color palette, luxurious finishes, and textures. The interior design of this law office creates an excellent backdrop for the client's art collection. When my previous design client and friend approached me about moving his offices to a new building I was excited to join the team. They selected a space located on the 13th floor of the BB&T building located in downtown Jacksonville with a spectacular view of the St. Johns River.
