We bought a home Ruth Dyer coordinated 3 years ago. I recognized the dining area with a nearly floor to ceiling mirror and loveseat from the newspaper. I had admired her creativity. Instead of a table she had used owners extra love seat, a new 9 or 10 foot palm and odds and ends of owners to create a stunning alcove in the dining room. The former owner was an eclectic shopper and how Ruth used all those years of accumulation to create this eclectic decor I do not know but it looked great. We bought the furniture on this half of house. I loved the uniqueness. There were a few things such as the silver Budah (from Z Gallery) on the long wall that took awhile of trying to remove and a lot of nail holes to realize how different and interesting the Budah made the long wall. That was owners choice of eclectic art but Ruth is the one who made it work. She repurposed a buffet height dresser from their bedroom set to below the Budah and then accessorized this. Since I have tried 3 pieces of art and called her back to check them out and give opinions I have seen her pull pieces and recreate different looks effortlessly. If you moved all your loved pieces down with you and they do not work call Ruth and her sister-in-law. Many times it is accessories and a new updated carpet that gives zip and makes your interior fresh.
