Canterbury Cottage opened its doors in the winter of 1996 in a quaint cape cod home in Jenison, Michigan. It was formally owned by Mr. Al VanderWerf who loved to come through and see what we had done to his home and how we transformed it into a store. We filled it from top to bottom! From the upstairs, with the darling dormers, to the main floor that had beautiful wood floors, cozy fireplace, curved stairway, and enclosed porch which we filled every inch with our furniture and accessories. Since then, a lot has changed!
