In business for over 30 years, Danish Teak Classics specializes in finding, restoring and selling vintage Scandinavianmodern furniture - that is, furniture and accessories mainly designed and produced during the mid-20th century in Northern Europe and the USA. We offer high-quality vintage furniture, lighting, ceramics, glass and more, as well as a collection of fine art and new, custom products. In addition to our retail offerings we provide furniture restoration services. Many of our sales take place throughour showroom in the Minneapolis Arts District, on this website, and on the1stdibsonline marketplace.

Each Danish modern vintage lounge seating, occasional seating and dining chair represented here is hand-picked in Denmark and then shipped to Danish Teak Classics, where it is then restored by our skilled craftspeople. Danish Teak Classics offers the best selection of Danish Modern lounge furniture available in the United States. Designers represented in our inventory include Hans J. Wegner, Borge Mogensen, Greta Jalk and many others. All are available on a piece-by-piece basis except where multiples are noted.

Scandinavian Modern vintage lighting pieces add interest to many areas in the home or office, including dining and conference rooms, office spaces, bedrooms and living areas. Danish Teak Classics' collection is hand selected in Denmark and includes Pendant Fixtures, Floor Lamps, Table Lamps and occasionally Outdoor Fixtures. Each piece has been fully restored and fitted for use in North American settings by our skilled craftspeople, unless otherwise noted. Each fixture is a single item unless multiples are noted on the product listing pages.

Professional, skilled furniture restoration is an integral part of what we do every day. Our goal is to provide beautiful, functional furniture that honors its illustrious past. Our restoration workshop is continuously refining ways to clean and restore while still preserving the patina that quality vintage furniture so patiently acquires. With our years of experience restoring these vintage pieces, we've become quite skilled at removing stains and rings, repairing veneers, tightening loose joints and reapplying upholstery.

Danish Teak Classics provides residential and small-scale commercial interior design services to the public - both current customers and new clients are welcome to partake in our program. We customize our level of service to suit individual projects, from a basic design consultation and advice, to drafting furniture plans, to product and surface suggestions for an entire remodel or new-build. We are here to create a design relationship customized to fit the scope of each individual project. We use our expertise, experience and design tools to help optimize your design budgets and help avoid costly mistakes.
