There are several methods which could be used to take advantage of solar hot water collectors to heat the water in your swimming pool. One approach is to design a system to heat your house in the winter, and use the same collectors to heat your pool during the summer. This arrangement would increase the enjoyment of your pool, and reduce the use of conventional fuel for heating your home. A simpler approach is to use solar hot water collectors to heat the pool during the swimming season, and winterize the solar equipment when the pool is winterized.

After deciding that you want to take advantage of solar domestic hot water, there are several options available to complete the installation.
