Our family has owned and operated a custom drapery and upholstery business that my mother, an incredibly talented and creative woman, started when I was a child. I remember designers and architects would bring their drawings into the shop, and it was here that their designs became a reality.

This has been such an exciting project for us at Edith Barrera Interiors, LLC! We've had the joy of designing a space for a client who happened to have two awesome artwork pieces, one with a mighty buffalo and one with an old historic map of Buffalo Bayou in Houston, Texas. Windows are the first thing we see when we walk into a room. This makes them an important design element in any space, which is something we, as designers, don't take lightly when it comes to window coverings.
