Sometimes described as creative and imaginative or one who provides technical solutions within a structure, an interior designer is really so much more. The designer is often a multi-faceted professional who begins work with a client as a listener, sometimes as an arbiter and always as one with an eye for the details that bring an interior to life-delivering classic looks that match the client's vision. We believe that good design is in the details. It begins with our initial interior drawings and continues into the final installation of the completed design.

I remember the very first day of classes to become an interior designer, my favorite instructor, Sherry Shroyer (now gone but not forgotten) uttered this phrase, Design is 10 % inspiration and 90% supporting that inspiration with paperwork. If that doesn't sound like fun to you, there is the door! Seriously? What had I gotten myself into? Frankly, I had chosen to be an interior designer because law school would take too long, in my estimation, and I was no spring chicken then. All these years later I can say that what Sherry spoke that day was prophetic.

Founded in 2010 by Tammie Willis, willis + willis interior design llc is a full-service, interior design firm specializing in luxury residential, commercial and hospitality design. For the last sixteen years, Tammie has served clients throughout the US producing designs in a broad range of styles inspired by the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, the coast of California, and the Sonoran desert of Arizona. Tammie has an intuitive style of interior design that is a result of her training as a fine artist.
