Pat Mercurio is the owner and founder of REdo-REnew Interiors. She has over 20 years of experience in the design industry. As well as being a certified Interior Redesign expert, she has experience in Model Home Staging, Retail Merchandising and Home Renovations. You and your crew staged my Mother's house after we lost her at age 88. As you can imagine after all those years of saving all her treasures the house was very cluttered and very hard for us to decide what should go and what should stay.
Sometimes, your re-design may need a little extra attention in an area or two. If additional organizational assistance is required, we can help. We remove all the items from the area and just place back the items that show well in the area if it's a staging project, and for redesign projects, the item only goes back if it's used in that area. We shop for furniture, fixtures, accessories according to your style, preferences and budget. We'll bring pictures of items, or actual choices of accessories to fit the design scheme.
By adding the front roof covering, the vertical lines were cut and the entry was made much more dramatic. The walkway was centered to make visitors feel like they are being directed to the entry rather than pushed up against the garage. The out of date block was stuccoed to update the whole house. During the remodel, we redesigned this focal point to include a flat screen TV niche, gas fireplace and decorative display niches. Painting the windows made a totally updated look. New light fixtures, carpeting and removing the popcorn ceiling completed the total room transformation.
