In preparation for the design process, we gather the appropriate architectural plans and reflected ceiling plans to create the base drawings for the lighting design documents in AutoCAD. It is helpful to have direction as to furniture and artwork placement, finish selections and cabinetry detailing. JRLD prepares a lighting design which is typically documented onto 24" x 36" architectural plans, denoting fixture placements, control intent and special detailing for architecturally integrated lighting elements.
