Vollmuth & Brush was established in 1988 and organized to provide engineering, environmental science and land surveying in a multidisciplinary approach to site planning and consulting. The founding partners, George T. Brush, P.L.S and Jeffrey P. Vollmuth, P.E, recognized that a combination of these is necessary to deal with the complex process of obtaining permits and approvals. Vollmuth & Brush's clients have benefited by this approach with project designs that are more responsibly planned. The combination of these disciplines allows our clients to avoid the communication problems that occur between the various consultants who would typically be retained to complete a project.

Vollmuth & Brush can provide construction inspection for all projects that we are involved with. We also provide independent construction inspections for outside professionals and agencies. Vollmuth & Brush's site inspectors are familiar with local rules and regulations in the New York City Metropolitan area. Site inspectors are trained to identify inconsistencies between the approved plans and field conditions and suggest recommended solutions to accommodate field conditions to the engineers. For example, Vollmuth & Brush inspected over 1.5 miles of excavation in New York City streets.
