Initially founded in 1974 by Robert B. Ludgate, Sr., PE, PLS, and subsequently incorporated in 1986, Ludgate Engineering Corporation (LEC) is a federally certified Section 3 small, multi-disciplined consulting engineering business engaged in providing engineering services, consulting services, environmental services, surveying and mapping, structural design and drafting services to a variety of public and private clients. A family-owned business, LEC prides itself on its dedicated, long-term associates.

We use the team approach to complete all our projects, holding weekly job meetings to discuss all of our projects. This allows other staff members the knowledge to answer questions for clients if the project engineer is not available.
