Talk with us about your needs. BNK provides comprehensive services for civil engineering, surveying, FPME, building commissioning services, and landscape architecture. Site planning, permitting, cost inspections, studies, LEED design and building energy modeling are also available. As professional engineers, we serve government, educational, institutional, residential, subdivision and commercial clients. A large part of our FPME work is with architects as sub-consultants in all aspects of fire protection, plumbing, heating, ventilating, HVAC systems and electrical engineering.
We provide our clients with expert services in the areas of civil, fire protection, plumbing, mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as offering services for surveying and landscape architecture. The varied experience of our Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors allows us to accomplish a wide range of work and projects for clients in government, educational, institutional, residential, subdivisions and commercial fields. BNK is located at 6310 Chapel Hill Road, Suite 250, on Highway 54 in West Raleigh at Exit 290 of Interstate 40.
Maintaining the latest improvements in survey technology, BNK uses an integrated system of data acquisition, calculation, and drafting. Our field crews use electronic data accumulators (field computers), which receive the raw survey data directly from the electronic surveying equipment. This data is electronically transferred to BNK's office computer system. Using this data, an efficient, accurate finished survey/mapping product is produced. Our fully integrated software system combines coordinate geometry, digital terrain modeling, and earthwork.
Services include site selection, survey, project feasibility studies, preliminary design, preparation of working drawings and specifications, construction management and contract administration. A primary portion of our Civil design has been devoted to: site planning and layout, water distribution, sewer collection, roadway design, NPDES stormwater monitoring, and sedimentation and erosion control and contract administration. BNK is typically responsible for preparing plans, submittals, specifications and applications for: NPDES Permits, (North Carolina Division of Environmental Management), Highway Encroachment permits (North Carolina Department ofTransportation), NonDischarge Permits for Sanitary Sewer (North Carolina Division of Environmental Management), Water Distribution Extension permits (North Carolina Department of Human Resources), Sedimentation and Erosion Control Permits (Local Jurisdiction or North Carolina Land Quality Division), and Section 404 Permits (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers).
