Atlantic Marine Surveys provides nationwide and international marine vessel Surveys, pre-purchase Consulting, and vessel-in-water deliveries. We are an independent company with no affiliations with any manufacturers or brokers. In other words, we work for you and report to no one else. Our services protect your interests! Surveys are completed by Graduates of the Yacht and Small Craft Surveyor Course at Chapman's School of Seamanship, in Stuart Florida, or Surveyors who have attained membership in a nationally recognized professional surveyor organization.
With over thirty five years of experience in vessel operation, inspections, surveying and consulting, Steve is an Accredited Marine Surveyor (#811 ) with the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors - SAMS® Since 1980, Steve has been a US Coast Guard Licensed Master, 100 tons. Steve is a graduate of Chapman's School of Seamanship, Yacht and Small Craft Surveying. In addition, Steve has operated research ships for the Smithsonian Museum, piloted and managed operations on large passenger carrying vessels, consulted and inspected vessels prior to purchase or sale, and has delivered numerous vessels.
