We provide professional property surveying, site planning and erosion control planning and monitoring. The company continued to operate as a sole proprietorship until October of 1997 when the company incorporated under the name John A. McGill, P.C. and opened a second office in Greensboro, Georgia under the name The Oconee Company which we continued to operate through the end of 2013. As of January 1, 2014 we operate only the one office of McGill and Associates Land Surveyors in Thomson. From our Thomson office, located at 934 Shields Pond Road, we serve East Central Georgia and West Central South Carolina.

McGill, P.C. is a land surveying firm, providing property surveys, ALTA surveys, as-built surveys, topographic surveys, residential site plans, FEMA elevation certificate surveys, NPDES erosion control plans and monitoring services, model building for machine control, and volume calculations, as well as construction layout services to individuals, developers and construction companies throughout the Greensboro/Lake Oconee area, the Thomson/Augusta area and beyond. We also provide services on Georgia Department of Transportation and South Carolina Department of Transportation projects to various construction companies in Georgia and South Carolina.
