The permit office and/or your lender may require a form survey to verify that the foundation or other improvements are being constructed in the correct location. Larger commercial and public construction project will specify that certain location verification surveys be completed by a 3rd Party Inspector. In the event that problems develop as construction continues, an independent surveyor may be engaged to compare the existing improvements to the plans and assist in determining the cause of the problems.
