For 20 years, Auerbach Engineering Corporation (AEC) has been a leading consulting firm providing Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, and Environmental Planning services to clients throughout the northern Sierra Nevada region. In 1998, Walter R. Auerbach, PE, started AEC with just two other colleagues. After experiencing rapid initial growth, Walter purchased Hale-Tippin, a leading engineering and surveying firm that worked on prominent projects in Tahoe City and North Lake Tahoe. The company quickly expanded and was contracted for the surveying and engineering of the development at Northstar, the Village at Squaw Valley, the Lakeside Trail, the Commons Beach Development, and more.
AEC has a diverse range of Civil Engineering services. We enjoy projects that keep things flowing; whether it be water supply systems, stormwater, sewer, or roadways and drainage. Some of our favorite types of projects are recreation related and include sidewalks, trails, and boat ramps.
