Our Work Our heirloom furniture and gifts are handcrafted from solid American hardwoods. We use walnut, cherry, red and white oak, quarter-sawn white oak, maple, curly maple, ambrosia maple and ash. Our designs are simple, clean and timeless, often taking inspiration from the Shakers, as well as Scandinavian and modern design. Our furniture is finely sanded and finished simply to reveal the natural color and beauty of the wood grain. When you buy our pieces, you can rest assured that you're not bringing questionable wood or dangerous chemicals into your home, because our wood is solid, new, furniture grade lumber, our glue is low-VOC and our finish options are 0% VOC.
This Goldilocks King size walnut bed was made with extra support, which includes (2) kiln-dried poplar center supports, each with (2) 2.25” x 2.25” walnut legs to the floor, and 10 kiln dried poplar slats (not shown.)
