Lakeshore Custom Cabinets began over 30 years ago as Van Pelt Dental Cabinets. Van Pelt started Lakeshore Cabinets as a residential cabinet company 25 years ago to tap into the housing market. We (SW Builders) bought Lakeshore Cabinets 5 years ago then and re-named it Lakeshore Custom Cabinets (and Custom Wood Shop) when we were getting overloaded in our smaller cabinet shop which started in 1996. We have 86 years of combined cabinet building experience with the three craftsmen in the shop. We are Christian faith-based company that seeks to provide excellent quality cabinetry with our client in mind.
