Carpenter Square Theatre opens its 37th Season with "From Door to Door, " a heartwarming story about three generations of American women in the same Jewish family. The comedy-drama plays January 15-February 6 at the theater located at 800 W. Main in downtown Oklahoma City. As the play begins, Mary Goodman, a woman of the "greatest generation, " is mourning the loss of her husband. Her daughter, Deborah, is encouraging her to end her period of mourning and move on with a new independence. In a series of scenes between Mary, Deborah, and Mary's mother, Bessie, we see Mary's life as a daughter, wife, and mother.
