Built in 1924, the Granada Theatre opened as a dazzling new performing arts venue located in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara, California. Following a recent monumental restoration and nearly eighty-four years after first opening its doors, this storied entertainment palace has returned to life as the crown jewel of Santa Barbara's historic cultural district. A very active venue, the 1,553-seat Granada Theatre is open year round, providing a home for resident company performances as well as for shows mounted by regional and national concert promoters.
